Privacy Notice for California Residents

This privacy notice applies to consumers who reside in California and sets forth how Crane Consulting and Outsourcing, LLC, and its affiliates (“CCO”), collect, use, disclose, sell, share and/or retain personal information subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, (“CCPA”). The CCPA vests California residents with certain privacy rights regarding their personal information. This privacy notice describes your CCPA rights and explains how to exercise those rights.

Personal Information You Provide and Use of that Information

Typically, our website may be visited without revealing any information about yourself. You may choose to provide personal information, such as your name, address, telephone number and email address, through our Career Center. We use your provided information to communicate with you about career opportunities.

Personal Information We Collect by Automated Means

IP Addresses

An IP address is a unique identifier that certain electronic devices use to identify and communicate with each other on the Internet. When you visit our website, we may view the IP address of the device you use to connect to the Internet. We use this information to determine the general physical location of the device. We also may use this information to enhance our website and search for vulnerabilities.

Information We Share

We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise disclose personal information submitted through our website, except as described in this Privacy Policy. We may share your information among RAS related entities. We also may share the information with service providers we have retained to perform services on our behalf (for example, to process online career inquiries). These service providers are not authorized by us to use or disclose the information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or to comply with legal requirements. In addition, we may disclose information about you (i) if we are required to do so by law or pursuant to legal process, (ii) in response to a request from law enforcement authorities or other government officials, or (iii) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss or in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity.

Occasionally, links to other websites may be available on our website, such as by using the Career Center to search for job opportunities. These websites operate independently from our website and are not under our control. These sites may have their own privacy policies or terms of use, which we strongly suggest you review if you visit any linked website.

Notice Regarding Access to Specific Information

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection, disclosure, and use of your California personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will disclose to you the categories of information collected about you over the past 12 months, and the categories of third parties to whom the California personal information has been disclosed. 

Notice Regarding Right to Delete

You have the right to request that we delete any of your California personal information collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will delete (and direct our service providers to delete) your personal information from our records, unless an exception applies.

We may deny your deletion request if retaining the information is necessary for us or our service provider(s) to:

·         Complete the transaction for which we collected the personal information, provide a good or service that you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you.

·         Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, or prosecute those responsible for such activities.

·         Debug products to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality.

·         Exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise his or her free speech rights, or exercise another right provided for by law.

·         Comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (Cal. Penal Code § 1546 et. seq.).

·         Engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when the information’s deletion may likely render impossible or seriously impair the research’s achievement, if you previously provided informed consent.

·         Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.

·         Comply with a legal obligation.

·         Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.

Notice Regarding Right to Opt-Out 

The CCPA permits California residents the right to opt-out of the sale and sharing of personal information. CCO does not sell or share sensitive personal information for purposes other than those business purposes specifically enumerated under the CCPA.

Data Retention

We will retain the personal data you provide to us for no longer than is necessary for the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise extending the retention period is required or permitted by law or subject to our retention policies as may be in place from time to time. 

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your access and deletion rights, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by (1) submitting a request via email at [email protected], or (2) submitting a request via mail to: Crane Consulting and Outsourcing, LLC, Attn: Compliance, 6409 Congress Ave., Suite 100, Boca Raton, Florida 33487.

Only you, or your authorized agent (i.e., person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf), may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.

You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or deletion twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must:

Provide sufficient information that allows us to verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.

Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.

We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you.

Once we receive your verifiable consumer request, we will endeavor to respond to your request within 45 calendar days, if we are able to verify your identity. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. 

Requests for access or to delete for Child under the Age of 13: We do not knowingly collect information of minors under the age of 13.

Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
